-Custom Fabrication: Build complex jigs, fixtures, templates, dies, and gages from scratch based on 3D CAD models and blueprints.-Machine Operation: Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including: CNC Boring Mills (United Tool specializes in "large-frame" tooling). Manual Mills and Lathes for precision fitting. Surface Grinders for achieving exacting tolerances.-Assembly & Tryout: Assemble finished components and perform "tryouts" (testing) on large presses (up to 1,000 tons) to ensure the tooling performs to customer specifications.-Precision Inspection: Use laser inspection equipment, micrometers, and calipers to verify dimensions and alignments of finished parts.-Collaboration: Interface with the design and engineering teams (who use Creo/CAD software) to troubleshoot issues during the build process.

-A Journeyman's card is highly preferred.
-Technical Expertise: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.-Manual & CNC Skills: Proficiency in both manual machining and the operation of modern CNC equipment.-Experience: Most roles require 3???5+ years of experience in a tool and die or job shop environment.-Physical Demands: Ability to handle large, heavy parts and operate overhead cranes.
