Spherion is seeking a Hazmat CDL Driver to join a direct-hire logistics team responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous materials and supporting warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
Operate commercial vehicles to transport hazardous materials in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to support timely delivery schedules
Assist with loading and unloading freight in warehouse settings, ensuring proper handling and securement
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate ELD logs
Communicate with management and customers regarding delays, delivery updates, or inventory issues
Follow all safety procedures related to hazardous materials handling and transportation
Support general warehouse operations when needed
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Prior experience transporting hazardous materials
Familiarity with warehouse loading and inventory processes
Experience working with dispatch or logistics coordination systems
Additional CDL endorsements (such as Tanker, if applicable)
Prior direct-hire or long-term driving experience in a logistics environment
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Valid Commercial Driver?s License (CDL)
Active Hazmat endorsement (required)
Clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving, logistics, or warehouse operations
Knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling requirements
Ability to manage time effectively and follow delivery schedules
Basic recordkeeping skills, including ELD usage
