Spherion is seeking a reliable Part-Time Driver for an immediate opportunity in Eastford, CT. This position offers a Monday???Friday schedule with approximately 5 hours per day at $22/hour. Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company vehicle to transport materials, supplies, equipment, or other items as assigned.
Follow designated routes and schedules.
Load, unload, and move items as needed.
Secure materials properly during transportation.
Perform basic vehicle safety checks before and during trips.
Maintain accurate delivery or transportation records when required.
Follow all company safety procedures and traffic regulations.
Communicate professionally with staff, customers, vendors, or other individuals during deliveries.
Report any vehicle, delivery, or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Previous professional or work-related driving experience.
Experience making deliveries or transporting materials.
Familiarity with the Eastford, CT area and surrounding communities.
Experience with loading and unloading materials.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record.
No CDL required at this time.
Ability to safely operate a vehicle.
Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload items as needed.
Physically able to perform the requirements of the position.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow directions and schedules.
Responsible and safety-conscious approach to driving.
Ability to work Monday???Friday for approximately 5 hours per day.
