The EHS Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to achieve strategic goals and maintain 100% compliance with EHS legislation and company policies. The work schedule is 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, but can offer some flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Program Implementation & Strategy: Participate in the execution of the organization???s EHS programs and contribute to the successful delivery of EHS goals and strategy.
Training and Engagement: Design, create, and deliver EHS training programs to ensure all personnel, including those maintaining EHS programs, are aware of their duties. Provide training for all employees to achieve 100% engagement in EHS initiatives.
Team Participation: Actively participate in EHS-focused teams, such as site safety and environmental committees, energy teams, and behavioral safety teams, to drive EHS improvements and manage programs.
Communication & Influence: Effectively communicate EHS information to all organizational levels, including the Plant Manager, managers, supervisors, and employees, to engage, influence, and motivate staff to achieve EHS initiatives and strategic goals.
Auditing and Compliance:
Audit and evaluate the performance of the EHS management system.
Create and drive action plans to implement identified corrective and preventative actions.
Implement, maintain, and use monitoring procedures for changes in applicable EHS legislation and ensure the EHS management system is updated to maintain compliance.
-Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
-Create and utilize systems for monitoring and auditing EHS performance across the organization.
-Provide timely, action-oriented reports to management to ensure appropriate progress towards achieving organizational goals and strategies, and 100% compliance with relevant policies, specifications, and EHS legislation.
-Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders responsible for managing various components of the EHS program.
-Metrics and Improvement: Propose, implement, and utilize organizational EHS metrics (e.g., near hit reporting, behavioral safety scorecards, ergonomic assessment, risk assessment data, environmental permit data, hazard reporting) that drive measurable improvements in EHS performance.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing role is preferred.
-Actively demonstrate communication, collaboration, and team working skills.
-EHS professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, or equivalent).
-Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) as applied to EHS.
-Familiarity with EHS management software and reporting systems.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Bachelor???s degree OR a minimum of 4 years of experience in an EHS role.
-Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive audits and inspections of all aspects of EHS throughout a Site.
-Actively demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and team working skills
-Working knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, local/country-specific laws).
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret EHS data and generate action-oriented reports.
--Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard analysis methodologies.
