Job Description:
This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.
Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools such as long-nose pliers, screwdrivers, and wrenches to build mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Perform skilled hand soldering on electronic assemblies according to high-reliability engineering standards.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and Bills of Material (BOM).
- Adjust, fit, or align parts to ensure compliance with strict engineering assembly processes and quality standards.
- Identify production problems and contribute to the continuous improvement process.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area and strictly adhere to all safety and quality system procedures.
Education: High School
Experience: 48 months
- A minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
Physical:
- Ability to stand and traverse the production floor for the duration of a shift and transport items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Most positions require U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
