Responsibilities:
Precision Soldering: Perform high-quality hand soldering of through-hole (THT) and surface-mount (SMT) components under a microscope.
Documentation: Follow strict work instructions, Bill of Materials (BOM), and assembly drawings to ensure every board is built to customer specifications.
Machine Operation: Assist in the setup and operation of SMT pick-and-place machinery and reflow ovens.
Inspection: Conduct visual inspections of solder joints and component placement according to IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3 standards.
Mechanical Assembly: Perform "Box Build" tasks, including cable routing, chassis assembly, and final integration.
ESD Compliance: Rigorously follow all Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety protocols to ensure the integrity of sensitive electronics.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Technical Skill: Demonstrated proficiency in hand soldering (SMT and THT).
Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and assembly blueprints.
Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination for handling 01005-sized components and uBGAs.
Standards: Familiarity with IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 (Active certification is a major plus).
