Responsibilities:
Technical Liaison: Act as the point of contact between plant operations, maintenance, and vendors to resolve equipment reliability issues.
Project Management: Provide end-to-end management for technical projects aimed at maintaining infrastructure and enhancing reliability strategies.
Cost Savings: Proactively identify and develop cost-saving measures through data analysis and review of engineering drawings.
Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to perform root cause analysis and develop alternative technical solutions.
Maintenance Support: Assist with preventative maintenance planning and provide technical guidance for equipment troubleshooting.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Specialized Environment: Experience working in a Machine Design and Build or a Job Shop environment.
Industrial Knowledge: Understanding of indirect materials, inventory management, and calibration requirements.
Lean Methodologies: Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma.
Supply Chain Expertise: Prior experience with procurement activities or managing indirect supply chain solutions.

Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in engineering or maintenance within a major manufacturing environment.
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct meetings and interact effectively with multiple layers of management and customer staff.
Project Management: Proven experience managing technical projects from inception to completion.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex documents, including safety rules, blue prints, and maintenance instructions.
Software Proficiency: Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
