Manufacturing Company is seeking an Entry Level Welder to join their Manufacturing Team. Seeking someone that can safety operate welding equipment while performing basic operations. Responsibilities:
-Novice welder with the capability of operating TIG ; MIG; and Oxy Acetylene welding equipment. Also common shop tools such as grinders, sanders and hydraulic straightening equipment.
-Familiar with reading and understanding engineering drawings.
-Moderate capability for using measuring equipment (tape measure, framing square, straight edge).
-General knowledge of shop measuring equipment, engineering drawings and cutting equipment to cut stock (tubing, angle iron, channel iron, flat bar, etc.) for simple welded miscellaneous assemblies and frame assemblies.
-Moderate capability for fabricating simple miscellaneous welded assemblies.
-Maintains cleanliness of the work area and ensures proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent loss. Conforms to departmental safety requirements.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
-Detailed Oriented
-Experience with blue prints or sketches
-Must be comfortable wearing PPE for entire shift which includes, hood, coveralls, gators, gloves, safety glasses and shoes.

No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-Able to pass a background check
-1+ years of welding either in Tig, Mig or Oxy Acetylene
-Able to lift up to 50lbs as needed
