Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $17-$21/hr. based on experience

Responsibilities:
As our Escrow Specialist, you will manage critical escrow accounts with care, accuracy, and efficiency.

- Tax Administration: Set up tax lines in servicing systems, process and reconcile disbursements, and resolve daily inquiries from borrowers.
- Mortgage Insurance (MI): Handle MI premium disbursements across multiple investors (FHA, FNMA, VA, etc.) and process account termination requests.
- Insurance Tracking: Review compliance reports, manage lender-placed hazard/flood policies, and assist with flood zone inquiries.
- Escrow Analysis: Run in-depth account analyses to prevent unexpected payment shocks for borrowers and keep their accounts beautifully balanced.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience utilizing mortgage servicing software and systems, specifically MSP or FICS Mortgage Servicer.
- Previous Private Mortgage Insurance and/or Property Tax experience.
- Prior experience interacting directly with external escrow/tax vendors and portals.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Candidates should be highly skilled in accounting and a true understanding of property taxes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing or escrow management, featuring a solid understanding of real estate taxes, insurance, and escrow analysis.
- Familiarity with mortgage industry regulations, investor guidelines, and standard escrow procedures.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and standard office equipment.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to maintain professional behavior and productivity under tight deadlines.

Work Environment:
- This position operates in a professional, fast-paced office environment that rewards collaboration and proactive teamwork.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation, read a computer screen, communicate clearly via telephone and in person, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds unassisted.
