- Pay Rate: Starting at $20 to $22/hr. depending on experience (30-day temp-to-hire).
- Schedule: Weekdays; flexibility is key! While most openings are for 2nd and 3rd shifts, all candidates must be available to train on the 1st shift.
- Shift Options:
12-Hour: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (1st) or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (2nd).
8-Hour: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st), 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (2nd), or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3rd).
- Punctuality: We value your time and our customers' time; arriving early is considered "on time" for this role.
As an Evaporator Operator, you are pivotal to our manufacturing process. You will oversee the equipment that concentrates liquids by efficiently extracting water content.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a keen focus on process variables while standing for 8 - 12 hours.
- Perform regular sampling, labeling, and testing of products every 30-60 minutes.
- Identify and resolve equipment issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), obtain Confined Space permits, and perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures during equipment inspections.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Skills:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related industrial environment.
- Direct experience operating evaporator equipment.
- Familiarity with machinery control systems and concentrate processing.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- A thorough understanding of production equipment and the ability to interpret engineering designs.
- Ability to strictly abide by OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, climbing ladders, and maneuvering in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to manage variables like brix, viscosity, pH, and L-values.
- A proven ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
