Because leadership is frequently in the field or in meetings, you will act as the central hub for the office-prioritizing urgent matters, filtering requests, and ensuring operations run smoothly. You will also take the lead on departmental payroll and ensure all procurement follows established financial procedures.

Responsibilities:
Key Job Duties
Executive Gatekeeping: Manage complex calendars, prioritize incoming requests, and ensure critical issues are addressed promptly while filtering less urgent matters.
Fiscal & Payroll Oversight: Process departmental payroll and timesheets while ensuring staff adhere to proper finance and procurement protocols.
Meeting Coordination: Organize workshops and training sessions, prepare professional agendas, and record accurate minutes for follow-up action items.
Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal departments, outside agencies, and the public.
Office Management: Draft and edit high-level reports and presentations while maintaining strict confidentiality on sensitive personnel matters.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Key Skills: * Proven ability to analyze data and interpret complex policies.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shifting priorities.
Ability to exercise high-level discretion and sound judgment.

High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Education: Experience in municipal government or a public sector environment is highly preferred.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, specifically supporting a Manager, Director, or Executive.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
