Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and carry out repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce system downtime and extend asset lifespans. Handle day-to-day work orders, emergency calls, and facility maintenance requests efficiently. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized facility projects or complex repairs. Safety & Compliance: Monitor building safety standards (fire, health, security) and ensure compliance with local building codes.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Technical Aptitude: Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to solve facility issues. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to skillfully gather info and identify timely maintenance solutions. Communication & Teamwork: Excellent oral communication skills with the ability to work independently or collaborate with a team. Organization: Great time management to prioritize work activities, multitask, and keep work areas clean and safe.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred). 1+ years of experience in building or facilities maintenance. Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA) and preventive maintenance practices. Proficiency with standard MS Office and PC software. Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
