As a Field Service Technician, your primary duties will include:- System Maintenance and Service: Performing routine, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on water treatment systems and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, filter changes, DI/Carbon media exchanges, Reverse Osmosis (RO) cleaning, and Electro deionization (EDI) cleaning and sanitization.- System Installation Support: Assisting the Installation Department staff with the commissioning and startup of new, central water systems.- Documentation and Reporting: Providing thorough documentation of all work performed, parts used, and time spent, strictly following standard operating procedures (SOPs).- Customer Relations: Maintaining an effective and trusted working relationship with customers, ensuring their water systems are maintained leak-free and fully operational.- Communication: Communicating with the Service Manager regarding service contract issues, reoccurring breakdowns, and system design issues that require escalation.- Safety and Compliance: Consistently using safe work practices while driving, in the shop, and at customer sites. Adhering to all customer contractor/visitor rules and regulations.- Organization: Maintaining extraordinarily neat work areas, including your company vehicle, the shop, and customer work sites.
4-7 years
- Knowledge and experience in water system purification- Highly desirable to have an Associates or Bachelors Degree
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude - Ability to travel along the East Coast 50-75% of the time - Experience in commercial and industrial environments (HVAC, Automotive Industry, etc) preferably in water treatment, purification, or related industrial systems. - Professional demeanor and strong communication skills for effective customer interaction- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across multiple service calls.- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.- Must be computer proficent
