- System Maintenance and Service: Perform routine, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on treatment systems and equipment (Filter changes, DI/Carbon media exchanges, RO cleaning, and Electro deionization cleaning / sanitization) - System Installation Support: Assist the Installation Department staff with the enabling and startup of new, central water systems.- Documentation and Reporting: Thoroughly document all work performed, parts used, and time spent. - Customer Relations: Maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their water systems are maintained, leak-free, and fully operational.- Communication: Communicate with the Service Manager regarding service contract issues, reoccurring breakdowns, and system design issues that require escalation.
4-7 years
- Knowledge and experience in water system purification is highly preferred.- Highly desirable to have an Associates or Bachelors Degree.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is required.- Ability to travel throughout the state of Maryland 75-90% of the time and to other locations in the United States (as needed).- Experience in commercial and industrial environments (HVAC, Automotive Industry, etc) preferably in water treatment, purification, or related industrial systems. - A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.- Must be computer proficient.- This position has a shift length that varies anywhere from 8 hours up to 12 hours in a day.- Must be able to work on call at least one time per month.
