Job Description:
The Document Management Clerk will be responsible for reviewing, organizing, digitizing, and securely handling physical company documents and files. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment when determining document retention needs.
Responsibilities include reviewing paperwork for administrative, legal, or historical importance, preparing and scanning documents into digital storage systems, and ensuring files are properly indexed for easy retrieval. Candidates will also assist with the secure disposal and shredding of outdated or duplicate documents while maintaining compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards.
Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently, maintaining organized workflows, and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Must be comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting file boxes weighing up to 20-30 lbs.
Temp-to-hire window:
Able for permanent placement after probationary period
Requirements:
Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, sound decision-making abilities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Proof of High School Diploma or GED is required.
Candidates should be comfortable using office technology including scanners, cloud storage platforms, and document management systems.
Previous clerical, administrative, or records management experience is a plus.
