Del Sol Food Company, the proud makers of BRIANNAS Fine Salad Dressings, is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join their production and warehouse team in Brenham. As a vital part of their logistics chain, you will be responsible for the safe movement of premium ingredients and finished products. Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to load, unload, move, and stack pallets of raw materials and finished goods.
Use RF scanners to track product movement, perform cycle counts, and ensure the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method is strictly followed.
Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies; prepare and stage outgoing orders for delivery.
Ensure all pallets are properly wrapped, labeled, and secured before transport or storage.
Conduct daily pre-operational safety inspections on equipment and perform basic field-level maintenance.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including sweeping and removing debris to meet food safety (GMP) standards.
Supply production lines with necessary materials to prevent downtime.
Working hours: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Skills:
Prior experience in a food manufacturing facility or knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and hand-held RF scanners.
Experience with specialized equipment such as reach trucks, pallet jacks, or order pickers.
Basic math skills for inventory counting and reconciling pick sheets.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1???2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (or the ability to obtain one through company training).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures (ambient to cold storage).
Precision in stacking pallets and accurately recording inventory data.
A strong commitment to following OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
