The Forklift Operator (Reach & Setdown) is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient movement of products, materials, and inventory throughout the facility. Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation & Material Handling
Safely operate stand-up reach trucks to put away, retrieve, and stack materials into narrow-aisle, high-density racking systems.
Safely operate sit-down (setdown) forklifts to load and unload trailers, stage pallets, and transport heavy goods across dock and floor areas.
Perform "setdown" tasks, carefully placing heavy, tall, or sensitive pallet loads from elevated racks down to floor staging zones for order processing or shipment.
Ensure proper load weight distribution and secure shrink-wrapping prior to transport.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience using RF inventory scanners and WMS software platforms.
Prior experience in distribution center, cold storage, or manufacturing settings
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Age: Minimum of 18 years old.
Experience: Minimum of 6?12 months of hands-on experience operating both stand-up reach trucks and sit-down counterbalance forklifts in a fast-paced environment.
Certification: Ability to pass company-administered forklift certification (OSHA compliant) upon hire.
