A leading manufacturer in autoglass finishing, is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Driver/Material Handler to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, and storage of finished product and materials within our barcoded manufacturing environment. Responsibilities:
Safely and proficiently operate a forklift and other material handling equipment (such as pallet jacks, tuggers, or reach trucks) to load, unload, stack, and move materials, products, and finished goods.
Ensure the continuous and timely supply of raw materials or components to production lines and the prompt removal of finished goods from the lines.
Utilize a barcoded inventory system (e.g., scanners, handheld devices) to accurately track, label, and document the movement and location of all product and materials.
Assist in the physical tasks associated with shipping and receiving, including staging finished products, verifying incoming/outgoing shipments against documentation, and inspecting materials for damage.
Move finished autoglass product from the production area to the packaging station, ensuring correct and secure stacking/staging to prevent damage.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper forklift operation procedures, maintenance checks, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and orderliness of the warehouse, staging areas, and material storage locations.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Skills:
1-4 years of prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
1-2years of dedicated material handling experience forklift operation, inventory movement is required.
