We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join a manufacturing team. In this role, you will be a vital link in our production chain, ensuring that materials and finished goods are moved efficiently and safely throughout our facility. Operating in a high-volume, barcoded environment, you will be responsible for supporting production lines, managing packaging supplies, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
Safely transport raw materials, components, and finished products to designated areas to support continuous production flow.
Use handheld scanners to track and move inventory within a barcoded system, ensuring 100% accuracy in stock locations.
Efficiently load and unload trailers, containers, and racks, verifying shipments against documentation.
Supply packaging materials to production lines and remove finished goods to staging or warehouse areas.
Utilize the Kronos system for daily timekeeping, attendance, and task tracking.
Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S or site safety standards.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 12:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
2+ years of experience in an Automation or manufacturing environment
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4+ years of experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to navigate barcoded inventory systems and basic computer functions.
