This is a unique opportunity to support logistics operations on-site at one of the largest military installations in the world. Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in accordance with project timelines.
Navigate a secure facility while adhering to all base-specific traffic and safety regulations.
Document inventory movement accurately to maintain strict project accountability.
Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in safe, working order.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth transitions between tasks.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Prior experience working on military installations or government projects.
Current or previous forklift certification.
Experience with heavy-duty or industrial loading.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Base Access: You must possess a valid driver?s license, current vehicle insurance, and registration. You must be able to pass a background check to obtain and maintain a base access pass (NCIC check).
Experience: A minimum of one year of forklift operation experience is required.
Reliability: Because this is a project-based role on a secure installation, perfect attendance is a requirement.
Commute Readiness: Applicants should be comfortable with the daily process of entering the installation through security checkpoints.
