We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Logistics & Inventory Integration Specialist to lead the transition of materials from our auxiliary storage facility back into our primary warehouse. This is a unique, hybrid role that requires a blend of high-level forklift operation, inventory precision, and facility management. You won't just be moving pallets; you will be responsible for auditing stock, "resetting" the storage site to peak condition, and strategically incorporating that inventory into our main operations to maximize efficiency.
...
Responsibilities:
Site Optimization & Restoration: Oversee the decommissioning of the storage facility, including the physical cleaning, organizing, and "resetting" of the space to company standards.
Inventory Integration: Strategically plan and execute the relocation of stock from storage into the primary warehouse, ensuring zero loss of data or product.
Advanced Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts (Sit-down/Reach/Stand-up) to load, unload, and high-stack materials in both the storage and main facilities.
Inventory Reconciliation: Perform comprehensive cycle counts and audits during the transition; update the Inventory Management System (IMS) to reflect real-time stock levels.
Logistical Flow Management: Coordinate the physical flow of goods to ensure the primary warehouse remains organized and functional during the integration process.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Project Management: Experience overseeing a "move" or warehouse reorganization project.
Advanced IMS Knowledge: Familiarity with software like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite for tracking complex inventory moves.
Lean 5S Certification: Knowledge of "Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain" principles for facility cleaning and organization.
Multi-Equipment Certified: Certification on both Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Certified Forklift Operator: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with a clean safety record.
Inventory Accuracy: Proven ability to manage SKU-level data and identify discrepancies.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform cleaning, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and equipment operation in various warehouse environments.
Logistical Problem Solving: The ability to look at a cluttered space and determine the most efficient way to sort and move it.
