Spherion is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This role combines forklift operation with hands-on warehouse responsibilities to support daily operations, inventory movement, and facility organization. Responsibilities:
Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
Load, unload, move, and stage products and inventory as needed.
Perform general warehouse duties, including sorting, organizing, and handling materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with inventory control and material tracking processes.
Support team members with various warehouse tasks to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Follow all company safety procedures, operational guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any issues promptly.
Working hours: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Skills:
Prior warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience.
Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse processes.
Ability to multitask and transition between forklift operation and manual labor.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist in multiple areas of the facility.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Valid forklift certification.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must meet ITAR requirements
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
