The Foundry Associate works directly in the Nacogdoches Foundry and is responsible for performing tasks across any assigned area within the facility. This role requires a great work ethic, solid mathematical skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Perform daily safety checks to identify and resolve unsafe acts or conditions.
Conduct daily housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Work closely with supervision to fulfill operational and customer needs.
Perform routine quality checks and identify/replace dull or broken tooling.
Support and promote lean manufacturing principles in all daily processes.
Execute other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Manufacturing environment with minimal climate control (ability to work in hot environments).
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.
Ability to frequently bend, squat, and lift under 35 pounds.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, and move rolling product carts
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Math & Mechanical Skills: mathematical proficiency and a demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Attributes: Self-motivated, collaboration skills, solid work ethic, positive attitude, and a history of good attendance.
Experience: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
