Spherion Staffing is hiring a hardworking and reliable Front Counter/ Yard Hand for a company in Graham, TX! This dual-role position is essential to the smooth operation of both the retail store and material yard, where responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming metal deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and providing excellent customer service in the store. Work schedule is full time onsite in Graham Monday-Friday 7am-4pm; pay starts at $15.00/hr, negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Yard Operations:
- Receive and check in material deliveries from trucks, verifying quantities and quality against delivery paperwork.
- Accurately perform inventory counts and cycle counts in the storage yard.
- Stock and organize metal on storage racks in the yard, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy access.
- Pick and stage customer orders from the yard according to sales tickets.
- Safely load sold items into customer vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the storage yard.
Retail Operations:
- Learn and understand retail store operations, including product knowledge, pricing, and sales procedures.
- Greet customers in store, answer inquiries, and provide product information.
- Process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining the visual appeal of the retail store.
- Participate in inventory counts within the retail store.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on new tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required
- Aptitude to use a computer to process tickets, check out customers, intentory counts
- Ability to lift and carry metal weighing up to 50 lbs to help customers move or load material
- Must be able to work in non-climate controlled conditions
