Greet patients in a warm, professional manner and manage patient check-in and check-out.
Schedule and confirm appointments while maintaining an organized, efficient front office workflow.
Verify patient information and ensure accurate data entry into the electronic medical records system.
Process payments and handle insurance verifications as needed.
Support medical staff with administrative functions, including scanning, documentation, and correspondence.
Assist with obtaining and processing medical authorizations once trained.
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance standards at all times.
Working hours: 8:15 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Knowledge of Next Tech Practice Plus and Telechart Pro is a plus (training available).
Education:
No Degree Required

1-4 years

Qualifications
Medical front office experience required ? this is non-negotiable.
Experience within ophthalmology or a specialty medical practice is strongly preferred.
Proven longevity and stability in previous roles.
Tech-savvy and comfortable working in a fully paperless environment.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office.
