Responsibilities:
- Ensure all new patients complete registration in accordance with OMH policy, Quality standards,
- Offer and assist patients with voter registration procedures.
- Verify and update patient insurance information to ensure accurate billing and coverage.
- Greet all patients and visitors upon entry and exit with a respectful and responsive attitude.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards when answering and routing phone calls.
- Monitor clinical and medical staff schedules to maximize patient care efficiency and proactively
backfill canceled appointments.
- Maintain, complete, and update patient medical records as indicated.
- Adhere strictly to the agency?s Corporate Compliance Policies and Plan.
- Perform additional administrative duties as requested by the Office Manager or Clinic Directors.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume phone calls with professionalism.
- Proficiency in data entry and maintaining electronic health records.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (College degree or administrative certification is a plus).
- Previous experience in a medical office or front desk setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance.
