What Youll Do:
-Load, unload, and move materials within the plant or yard using forklifts, hand trucks, or electric dollies.
-Maintain and verify records of outbound shipments and keep all department stations fully stocked.
-Perform daily forklift inspections and ensure 100% compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
-Assist with routine housekeeping tasks as part of the plant's 6S plan.
-Read work orders to determine material needs and manually move items onto pallets, racks, or shelves when necessary.

What Youll Bring
-2 years of forklift experience (ideally in a metal fabrication shop).
-High school diploma or GED
-Previous experience moving large metal objects and working within a Lean Manufacturing environment.
-Strong basic math skills, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of self-motivation.
-Must be dependable, a good communicator (with team and supervisors), and adaptable to changing daily duties
