We are hiring hard-working, dependable associates for an immediate 3-week seasonal role in Opelika, AL (Tiger Town area). In this position, you will be responsible for the physical preparation of our home furnishings showroom ahead of the busy holiday shopping season. Your primary focus will be unboxing, moving, rearranging, and positioning floor displays, furniture, and seasonal decor across the showroom floor. Responsibilities:
Safely lift, transport, and arrange furniture pieces, home decor, and floor displays throughout the showroom.
Assist visual teams with rearranging room vignettes and moving older inventory to make space for holiday product setups.
Unpack crates and boxes, remove packing materials, inspect items for defects, and discard trash properly.
Assemble light furniture pieces and staging fixtures using basic hand tools.
Clear aisles, stage incoming shipments, and keep staging lanes safe, tidy, and clutter-free.
Partner with the on-site team to ensure the showroom is clean and presentation-ready for guests.
Working hours: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Must be able to start immediately and commit to the 3-week assignment.
Strong physical capability, including frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting/moving items up to 50 lbs (team-lifting heavier pieces as needed).
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to follow verbal floor-plan directions and safety guidelines closely.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Previous experience in moving, general labor, retail floor merchandising, staging, or warehouse loading/unloading.
Familiarity with dollies, furniture hand-trucks, and basic hand tools.
Great team-player attitude and proactive approach to getting tasks done.
