Spherion Staffing is seeking reliable, hard-working General Laborers / Maintenance Workers for a fast-paced facility in the RGV. This team will be helping the facility prepare for an upcoming audit by completing facility maintenance, deep cleaning, and grounds upkeep. Responsibilities:
Facility Touch-Ups: Repaint faded safety lines and walkway markers on warehouse and facility floors.
Cleaning & Organization: Sweep, pressure wash, clean work areas, clear debris, and organize equipment/supplies to meet audit readiness standards.
Manual Labor: Move materials, pallets, equipment, and heavy items as directed by team supervisors.
General Maintenance: Perform basic indoor and outdoor physical labor tasks around the grounds.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Previous Maintenance/Labor Background: Prior experience in warehouse cleaning, construction, landscaping, or facility maintenance.
Basic Equipment Experience: Prior experience using pressure washers, paint rollers/striping equipment, or basic hand/power tools.

Qualifications:
Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) continuously throughout a 10-hour shift.
Environment: Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in hot/warm weather conditions.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and dependable for full 50-hour workweeks (Monday ??? Friday, 7:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM).
Work Ethic: Ability to follow basic instructions, work well in a team, and complete tasks quickly with attention to detail.
