Location: Local Lumber Yard (Outdoors)
Responsibilities:
Load & Unload: Assist drivers with loading, unloading, and securing lumber materials: Swamper duties.
Yard Maintenance: Keep the lumber yard clean, organized, and safe for operations.
Material Handling: Stack, bundle, and stage lumber products efficiently.
Team Support: Work closely with heavy equipment operators and yard supervisors to keep orders moving smoothly.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Prior experience in lumber, construction, landscaping, or general labor.
Familiarity with basic yard safety rules and loading techniques.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to work on your feet outdoors in all weather conditions for a 12-hour shift.
Comfortable lifting, bending, carrying heavy lumber, and moving continuously throughout the day.
Show up on time, ready to work, with a dependable work ethic.
