This is a direct hire opportunity starting at $18.00 per hour. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of mechanical issues on residential and commercial mowers.
Schedule: Weekdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Saturdays: Rotating shifts from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Overtime: Mandatory overtime is required during peak seasonal times.
Punctuality: We value your time and our customers' time; arriving early is considered "on time" for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on gasoline-powered engines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on commercial and residential mowing equipment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high efficiency.
- Complete mandatory ongoing training through online courses and in-person distributor classes.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Attention to detail and a commitment to "right-the-first-time" quality.
- Ability to follow complex written and verbal technical instructions accurately.
- A proactive mindset toward shop safety and process improvement.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional experience working on gasoline engines with advanced diagnostic capabilities.
- Must provide your own basic set of mechanical tools.
- Ability to stand for the full duration of your shift.
- Ability to lift 50 to 70 pounds regularly and comfortably bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch to access low-clearance equipment.
- Must have reliable transportation to attend off-site training classes (up to an hour away from Ocala).
- An excellent attendance record is non-negotiable.
