Spherion Staffing is seeking dependable, hardworking Greenhouse Associates to support our agricultural team for a 4-week project. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, active work in an agricultural environment. You will assist with daily crop handling, seeding setup, stacking crates and more.

Responsibilities:

• Crop Handling: Move seeded boards onto growing ponds and pull fully developed crops off ponds to load onto transport channels for harvesting.
• Germination Prep: Stack seeded boards safely to prepare them for placement into the germination chamber.
• Sanitation & Maintenance: Feed crates into an automated washer for cleaning, then stack and organize clean crates for reuse.
• General Support: Assist with routine greenhouse duties and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Physical Demands: Work involves continuous, repetitive movements. While lifting is light, you will be on your feet and active throughout the shift.
• Punctuality: Reliable attendance for early morning starts (5:00 AM) is essential.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to stay slightly past 1:30 PM on occasion to finish daily shift closures.
• Environment: Comfortable working in an active agricultural/greenhouse setting.
