Schedule: Friday - Sunday (3-Day Weekend Shift)
Available Shifts: Day (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM) OR Night (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
Carefully remove cut metal components from skeleton sheets (nests) without damaging materials.
Operate handheld angle grinders, die grinders, and deburring tools to clear dross, slag, and sharp burrs.
Use belt sanders and orbital tools to smooth metal surfaces and prep parts for welding or painting.
Visually inspect finished parts against work instructions for defect-free surface quality.
Tag, organize, and transfer prepped parts to down-stream departments.
Maintain a clean workstation and cross-train in other shop departments as directed.

Skills:
1+ years of experience in a fabrication shop, machine shop, or metal manufacturing facility.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Experience operating power hand tools, angle grinders, belt sanders, and deburring equipment.
Ability to read basic shop drawings and technical work instructions.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive manual tasks, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Strict safety-first mindset regarding dust and eye/ear protection.
Willingness and openness to cross-train on multiple shop floors and positions.
