Responsible for property grounds management, general facility upkeep, and ensuring the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the Nacogdoches facility and grounds.
Responsibilities:
Groundskeeping: Mow lawns, trim weeds/trees, rake leaves, maintain flower beds, and manage lawn hydration/irrigation systems.

Facility Upkeep: Maintain sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and planters. Coordinate weather safety protocols, clean-up, and winterization.
Waste & Materials: Manage waste, scrap, and recycling removal. Operate the facility cardboard baler and load the cardboard trailer.
Maintenance & Projects: Assist the maintenance team with painting, cleaning, and light construction/demolition. Perform routine equipment upkeep.
PMs & Audits: Complete Preventative Maintenance (PMs) on ice/water fountains and spot-audit janitorial services.
Safety & CI: Adhere to safety protocols and 5S+ housekeeping. Serve on Safety, CI, and Spill Response committees.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Physical: Lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
Environment: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, tolerate hot environments and loud noises, and strictly wear required PPE
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Experience: 1+ years in a manufacturing environment required. Relevant grounds/facilities experience preferred (on-the-job training provided).
Skills: Ability to read work instructions, perform basic math, and safely operate power equipment (tractors, mowers, saws, etc.).
Traits: attention to detail, positive work ethic, effective communication.
