This is a full-time, hourly position within a precision electronics manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Precision Soldering & Assembly
Manually place and solder fine-pitch SMD components onto PCBs using microscopes, tweezers, and micro-soldering irons.
Utilize both leaded and lead-free (RoHS) soldering processes to meet rigorous quality standards.
Perform complex final assembly and production build-ups of complete units composed of intricate sub-assemblies.
Execute high-skill tasks including wiring, crimping, cable routing, and soldering in difficult-to-access areas.
Make minor, compliant procedural decisions regarding fitting and soldering within established guidelines.
Quality Control & Documentation
Review and verify that all received shop packet materials are complete; collaborate with support personnel to resolve any discrepancies.
Inspect work for completeness and ensure shop travelers are signed off before passing assemblies to the next production stage.
Exercise sound judgment in planning work sequences and determining the overall workability of completed items.
Perform troubleshooting, rework, and modification of production items as required.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 12:30 AM
Skills:
Proven ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision, follow through on multi-format instructions (verbal, written, diagram), and manage assigned paperwork effectively.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Technical Literacy: Advanced ability to read, interpret, and work from complex schematics, blueprints, final assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Dexterity & Focus: Exceptional hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and the ability to work steadily for extended periods under a microscope.
Math & Core Skills: Proficient in basic shop mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across all units of measure, whole numbers, and fractions).
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of related electronics manufacturing, assembly, and precision soldering experience.
Certifications: * Minimum of J-STD-001 Class 2 experience (Class 3 preferred).
