This role is ideal for someone with 1+ years of HR experience who excels in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the "investigative" side of human resources, including verification processes and candidate profile construction.
Duration: This is currently a week-by-week temporary assignment. While there is no guarantee of permanent placement at this time, the project is expected to last approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
Responsibilities:
Background Coordination: Assist in the background investigation process by researching, requesting, collecting, and organizing information for candidate profiles.
Verifications: Coordinate and track various candidate processing activities including employment verifications, residency checks, and professional reference checks.
Documentation: Compose professional correspondence and gather/prepare records for information requests.
Administrative Support: Manage inbound/outbound calls, schedule appointments, and route messages to the appropriate personnel.
Data Management: Enter invoices into the internal database for payment and respond to employment verification requests for current or former employees.
Office Operations: Greet visitors, distribute mail, and issue identification badges.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Soft Skills: Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines and organize large quantities of information across multiple subjects simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in multi-line phone systems, e-faxing, scanning, archiving, and managing multi-user calendars.
Communication: Exceptional English communication skills (both oral and written) with a strong grasp of business spelling and grammar.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 6 months to 1 year of HR experience, specifically within background investigations or for a law enforcement/governmental agency. and 2+ years of practical experience in general administrative clerical work.
2 years experience in MS Word & Excel
