Job Description:

The HR File Clerk is a temporary role supports the HR department with a large-scale records digitization project. The individual will handle confidential employee information and is responsible for organizing, scanning, labelling, and filing personnel and medical documents.

Responsibilities:

• HR File Clerk Responsibilities include:
  • Review employee personnel and medical files to ensure files are organized and compliant with HR standards.
  • Digitize employee records by scanning complete files for upload in the electronic HR system.
  • File and label scanned documents to the appropriate employee electronic folders and verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Securely shred physical documents once digital records are verified.
  • Assist with the digitization and organization of additional HR documentation as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle all employee records in accordance with company policy and privacy requirements.

  Education: High School

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or related field preferred.

  Experience: 6 months

  • Prior administrative, clerical, or records management experience preferred.
  • Experience with document scanning, electronic file organization, or handling confidential information is a plus.
  • Ability to work full-time hours and remain focused on detailed, repetitive tasks
