Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day HR Operations: Act as the primary point of contact for routine employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for incoming employees???including orientation, documentation, systems setup, and compliance tracking. Facilitate offboarding processes and exit logistics as needed.
Benefits & Payroll Support: Serve as liaison with payroll and benefits providers. Process status changes, monitor leave-of-absence requests, and support routine weekly payroll inputs.
Employee Relations: Provide initial intake and guidance on lower-level employee relations issues, escalating complex matters to HR Leadership as appropriate.
Recruitment Assistance: Support active recruitment drives by screening resumes, scheduling candidate interviews, and communicating with hiring managers during peak hiring phases.
HRIS & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee files in HRIS, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Prior experience step-ins, short-term contract roles, or coverage assignments is preferred.

Qualifications:
Experience: 3???5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern HRIS software and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn existing workflows, jump into ongoing projects, and build rapport with cross-functional teams immediately.
Knowledge: Sound working knowledge of local, state, and federal labor laws and standard HR best practices.
Communication: Good interpersonal skills, clear verbal and written communication, and high emotional intelligence.
Discretion: High standards of ethics and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee records and topics.
