We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a growing HVAC service provider. The ideal candidate will have 7 or more years in the field and be able to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain all types of residential HVAC equipment, as well as light commercial HVAC systems. The right candidate will also possess strong troubleshooting skills, good customer communication, and the ability to complete work professionally and safely. The hours of operation are standard day shift hours, with the potential for a four day work week if desired.

Responsibilities:
Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems
Working on heat pumps, air conditioners, gas furnaces, air handlers, packaged units, and mini-split ductless systems
Servicing light commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, and packaged units
Performing preventative maintenance inspections
Troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant, airflow, thermostat, zoning, and control issues
Checking refrigerant charge, pressures, temperatures, airflow, and system performance
Replacing motors, capacitors, contactors, boards, compressors, coils, thermostats, and other HVAC components
Communicating clearly with customers about system issues and repair options
Completing service tickets, invoices, photos, and job notes accurately
Maintaining a clean and organized service vehicle
Following all company safety procedures and local code requirements
Always representing the company in a professional manner
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
8+ years of HVAC service experience preferred
Experience with heat pumps, gas furnaces, mini-splits, zoning systems, and rooftop units
NATE certification is a plus
Experience with Mitsubishi, Daikin, Goodman, Trane, Carrier, Lennox, Bosch, or similar brands is a plus
Ability to perform basic ductwork evaluations and airflow troubleshooting
Light commercial service experience preferred

Experience servicing residential HVAC systems
Ability to work on light commercial HVAC equipment
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
EPA certification required
Valid driver???s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening, if required
Ability to lift equipment, tools, ladders, and materials as needed
Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and outdoor conditions
Basic understanding of low-voltage controls, high-voltage electrical, refrigerant circuits, and airflow
Good communication and customer service skills
