Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex industrial electrical systems, including 480V 3-phase power distribution, motor controls, and PLC-driven machinery.
Navigate and service electrical infrastructure across multiple manufacturing facilities and administrative areas on campus.
Execute scheduled inspections and rigorous preventive maintenance testing on switchgear, transformers, and emergency generators to completely minimize downtime.
Interpret and utilize electrical ladder diagrams, electronic circuitry diagrams, and software programs to modify, repair, or improve equipment functionality.
Assist in the planning, layout, and installation of electrical runs for facility upgrades and newly integrated manufacturing equipment.
Ensure all completed work aligns seamlessly with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and strictly adheres to OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and NFPA 70E safety protocols.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Possession of a valid Journeyman Electrician license or a relevant trade school certification.
Direct background working with Allen-Bradley or similar programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HMIs, and industrial electrical networking.
Previous experience navigating operations within a medical device, pharmaceutical, or highly specialized precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial or commercial electrician, preferably within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Deep, proven understanding of electrical schematics, industrial blueprints, and standard diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, megohmmeters).
Comprehensive working knowledge of AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control centers (MCCs).
Strong familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety practices.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical ability to climb ladders, work efficiently in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods during a shift.
