Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly.
- Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure equipment accuracy.
- Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose automation issues and implement necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Conduct field service tasks including welding (including welding), low voltage electrical work, and working on high voltage systems safely.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety standards and schematics.
- Support emergency repairs involving HVAC/R systems or other critical infrastructure to minimize production disruptions.
- Operate industrial lifts such as scissor lifts safely to access elevated machinery or work areas.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize equipment performance and provide technical support during production shifts.

Qualifications:
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hydraulics, welding preferred, electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), and HVAC/R systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and analysis tools for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring devices.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance planning and record keeping.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English across diverse teams.
- Field service experience including working on industrial electrician tasks or military maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated safety awareness when working with high voltage or in confined spaces; valid certifications are a plus.
