Global Scientific Manufacturing Company in Palm City, FL is seeking a motivated individual that can work in a fast-paced production environment.
This position is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining various production machines. This includes injection molding presses and metal stamping machines as well as some other smaller machines.
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Complete set-up of plastic injection molding machines
- Operate Injection Molding presses in a safe, efficient manor
- Perform routine mold changes in accordance with setup procedures
- Maintain quality standards in the injection process
- Ability to detect and diagnose defects of product
- Maximize production by keeping the molding machines running and assisting other employees in all areas of molding
- Monitor quality of product
- Clean, maintain, and organize the production and work areas
- Ability to perform basic machine maintenance
- Push or pull bins and carts, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Transfer finished goods to designated warehouse locations

- Well organized, with great attention detail
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Able to work under moderate supervision, able to effectively follow verbal and written directions to complete all duties in a timely and accurate manor.
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Work well in a team environment with a strong sense of commitment to both the company and the customer.
- Comply with the company's established policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and accident prevention methods in assigned areas of responsibility, with thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and standard practices in operation of a warehouse.

High school diploma or equivalent
Good mathematical and mechanical aptitude
Must have excellent attention to detail, this position involves a lot of inspection
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers
Willing to learn the trade of mold injection technician
