The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts that meet precise customer specifications. This role requires a blend of technical skill and attention to detail, as you will interpret blueprints, monitor complex machinery parameters, and utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure every part meets rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprint drawings and work orders to determine machine settings and customer specifications.
Run plastic injection molding machines efficiently, ensuring production schedules and quality goals are met.
Continuously monitor critical process variables, including temperatures and injection pressures, to identify and correct any non-conformances.
Verify machine settings by measuring positions and conducting first run part inspections. Perform regular checks on sample workpieces throughout the production run.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer instructions to ensure long-term reliability.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Skills:
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical work orders.
Experience using precision measuring tools (Micrometers, Calipers, etc.).

Qualifications:
Basic mechanical aptitude for performing preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, specifically within plastic injection molding.
Must have the flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as production needs dictate.
