We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to serve as the vital link between vendors and the sales team. In this role, you won't just take orders; you will manage the entire lifecycle of a sale!

Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate positive, long-term client relationships by handling all inquiries with high-level professionalism.
Order Solicitation & Processing: Proactively take and solicit customer orders via phone and email, utilizing an order entry system for stock and direct-source fulfillment.
Lead Generation: Act as a strategic partner to the outside sales team by identifying and funneling high-value leads and opportunities.
Vendor Liaison: Work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to source specialty items, schedule production, and expedite purchase orders.
Inventory Control: Maintain optimal stock levels and manage the replenishment of parts to ensure consistent material availability.
Expediting & Tracking: Monitor order lifecycles and maintain constant communication with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of critical shipments.
Problem Resolution: Independently resolve order discrepancies, delivery delays, and paperwork issues with customers and vendors.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Knowledge of automated shipping and inventory systems.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must have two - three years of experience in materials management or equivalent education/experience.
- A Valid Drivers license.
- Customer service oriented mindset
- Must be computer proficient as you will utilize several applications and software's in this role.
- Ability to work fully on site in Frederick, MD (this position does NOT offer a hybrid or remote structure)
