We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist who loves a good mystery. You won't just be counting boxes; you'll be the primary investigator responsible for maintaining the integrity of our stock. Your mission is to ensure that our physical inventory matches our digital records by identifying discrepancies, researching root causes, and implementing checks and balances that keep our operations running smoothly.
...
Responsibilities:
Financial Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations to ensure physical stock levels align with the Total Warehouse Logistics (TWL) system. You must understand the "dollar impact" of inventory???recognizing how shrinkage or gains affect the company???s bottom line.
Root Cause Analysis: When numbers don't add up, you???ll dig deep to find the "why." You will determine if errors are originating from the Picking Side (shortages, mis-picks) or the Receiving Side (overages, incorrect data entry).
Systems Management: Utilize TWL and our Order Management System (OMS) to track product movement, adjust inventory levels, and generate accuracy reports.
Checks & Balances: Establish and maintain rigorous audit processes to prevent errors before they happen.
Research & Reporting: Investigate "ghost" inventory or missing items by auditing transaction histories and interviewing warehouse staff to close the loop on discrepancies.
Basic Inventory Maintenance: Oversee cycle counting, bin location management, and the processing of damaged or returned goods.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
Experience: 2-4 years in inventory control, warehouse auditing, or a related role.
Education:
High School
Experience:

Qualifications:
Previous experience with TWL (Total Warehouse Logistics) or a similar high-level Warehouse Management System (WMS) is highly preferred.
You enjoy "connecting the dots" and have a natural knack for researching errors through complex transaction logs.
Ability to translate physical units into dollar values and understand the financial implications of inventory accuracy.
Attention to Detail: You catch the small errors that others miss, especially when comparing picking slips to receiving manifests.
Experience: 1???3 years in inventory control, warehouse auditing, or a related role.
