Spherion is hiring a dependable Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping facilities clean, follows safety procedures, and works well independently.
Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain office, production, and common areas.

Empty trash and recycling containers daily.
Sweep, mop, scrub, and sanitize floors and workspaces.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, reception areas, and other employee spaces.
Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
Clean windows, doors, and other facility surfaces.
Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks that do not require a licensed professional.
Follow company safety procedures and cleaning standards.
Assist with additional housekeeping and facility-related duties as assigned.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, office, or commercial environment.
Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, or vacuums.
Basic maintenance or handyman experience.
Knowledge of workplace safety and sanitation practices.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and complete work efficiently.
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Flexibility to assist with additional facility support duties as needed.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Previous janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Professional attitude and reliable work ethic.
