The Janitor/Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and surrounding grounds. This role is critical to supporting the company's commitment to safety, quality, and operational efficiency by ensuring adherence to hygiene standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the entire manufacturing facility, including production floors, offices, common areas, and restrooms.
Utilize industrial cleaning equipment (like floor scrubbers) to sweep and mop production areas.
Ensure prompt and safe removal of industrial debris, oils, and spills from production floors.
Handle all facility waste, including general trash, recycling, and designated industrial scrap, according to company procedure.
Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of administrative spaces, breakrooms, and restrooms.
Ensure all restrooms and common areas are properly stocked with necessary supplies.
Adhere strictly to chemical safety protocols, including the correct use and storage of cleaning agents, and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain accurate inventory of all cleaning supplies and tools.
Proactively identify and report any facility maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to management.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Skills:
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, pressure washers) and proper use of commercial cleaning agents and disinfectants.
Basic knowledge of industrial safety procedures, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, spill containment, and chemical handling/SDS.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, bending, lifting, and carrying supplies weighing up to 30 pounds, for an extended period.

Qualifications:
Proven experience (e.g., 1-3 years) in a janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping role, preferably within a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
