Fabrication & Welding: Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and welding symbols to lay out, fit, and weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.Process Expertise: Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.Machinery Operation: Operate shop equipment such as torches, plasma cutters, saws, drill presses, and overhead cranes.Precision Fitting: Assemble parts, tack-weld components, and align pieces using precision measuring instruments (calipers, squares, levels).Quality Inspection: Visually inspect welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, maintain a clean workspace (5S), and strictly adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Experience: Generally requires a minimum of 5+ years of professional welding experience, often in a manufacturing or repair shop setting.Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a formal apprenticeship or vocational training.Certification: AWS (American Welding Society) certifications or equivalent certification for specific welding processes may be required.Skills:Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, mathematical calculations, and welding techniques.Physical: Ability to stand for long hours, lift up to 50-60 lbs. and work in confined spaces or at heights.Must have own Hood and GlovesWeld Test to be given: Need to take Gloves and Hood - Test will be: Vertical and Overhead Flux Core
