Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Label Counter Operator to manage the final stages of the label production process. The role is to ensure that the quantity and quality of labels is provided to customers by operating digital counter and labeler equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate automatic or reel-to-reel label counters to verify label quantities and rewind rolls to customer specifications.
- Quality Inspection: Use visual checks to identify and remove defective labels, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Inventory & Logging: Record production data, including total output, waste, and material usage.
- Order Customization: Adjust machine settings to handle various roll widths (up to 150mm), core sizes, and preset count targets for specific customer orders.
- Routine Maintenance: Clean label beds, rollers, and sensors; troubleshoot minor mechanical issues like jams or sensor misalignments.
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
Skills:
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and familiarity with digital counting modules or scanning software
