We are seeking a safety-oriented, self-starting Field Technician to join our clients team in rebuilding and maintaining our natural environment.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery, and performing essential land upkeep to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Equipment Operation: Safely operate tractors, skid steers, brush mowers, all-terrain vehicles, and various power tools.
Site Maintenance: Prepare and maintain job sites, including loading materials and installing sediment control devices like silt fences.
Land Restoration: Assist with rough and fine grading for seed bed preparation and the installation of native trees, shrubs, and seeds.
General Upkeep: Install mulch, stone, and compost to maintain site aesthetics and health.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Equipment Proficiency: Prior experience with specialized machinery like hydro-seeders, augers, or chain saws.
Environmental Knowledge: Basic identification skills for native and invasive plants.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with INDOT rules regarding commercial vehicles and trailers.
OSHA Training: Previous training in PPE, hazardous materials, first aid, or material handling

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Safety First: Must be safety-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
Physical Ability: Able to lift heavy objects and work in extreme heat or cold while bending, kneeling, or crouching.
